These guards are stamped from 3/16" 5052-H32 aluminum—thick enough to handle real off-road abuse without bending or cracking under normal use.
About the black powder coat:
If you want the black powder coat finish instead of the raw aluminum, add $50 to your order. Fair warning: that'll add about 1-2 weeks to when your guards ship out since it has to cure after coating.
Installation tip:
When you bolt these on, use blue Loctite on your fasteners instead of anti-seize—it'll hold better and won't gum things up down the line.
