Assault Industries Can-Am Maverick R Half Windshield

When you're hammering the throttle on your Maverick R, the last thing you want is bugs in your teeth and dust coating your face. A half windshield cuts down on the wind blast and keeps you cleaner out on the trail. This one from Assault Industries does that job—and does it better than most. It'll shave off about 40% more air noise compared to your standard flat shield, which makes a real difference when you're moving.

What You're Getting
The kit comes complete with everything bolted down and ready to go. You get the windshield itself plus all the hardware and clamps you need to bolt it on. Installation's straightforward—no fancy tools or special tricks required.

The Material
SuperATV sources 1/4-inch polycarbonate for this shield. That's the good stuff—25 times tougher than acrylic and 250 times stronger than glass. It'll take a beating from flying rocks, branches, and all the nasty trail debris you'll encounter without cracking or shattering. The material also comes lightly tinted to cut down glare from the sun.

Scratch Protection
Both sides are coated with XR Optic Hard Coating. This keeps scratches at bay and stops the tint from fading over time, so your shield stays clear and looking good year after year.

Looks the Part
The shape has that cockpit-style look that fits the Maverick R's aggressive stance. It's not some plain flat piece—this one actually looks like it belongs on your machine.
