What You're Getting
The windshield itself is built from quarter-inch polycarbonate—the good stuff that won't shatter or cloud up. Assault Industries designed the clamps and seals to lock it down tight, so there's no wiggle, rattle, or movement once it's mounted. Everything you need for installation is included.
The Material
Quarter-inch polycarbonate is incredibly tough. It's 250 times harder than standard glass and 25 times tougher than acrylic, so rocks and branches won't put a dent in it. The material has a light tint built in to cut down on sun glare and UV exposure—your eyes stay comfortable even during long rides.
Both sides of the windshield get a hard-coat finish called XR Optic. This layer resists scratches and scuff marks from trail wear, and it won't yellow or fade if you're out in the sun all season long.
Mounting
Heavy-duty clamps branded by Assault Industries grip the windshield to your frame. Wide seals around the edges lock everything in place so nothing moves or rattles while you're riding.
