What You're Getting
The skid plate is cut from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160 inches thick, and comes with all the brackets and fasteners you need. Everything is made in the USA. The hardware is chromoly steel—that's more than twice as strong as regular mild steel—so it'll hold up to whatever you throw at it and won't rattle or shift once it's mounted.
Installation
No drilling required. The custom brackets bolt straight to your bike using the included hardware, and the whole job takes just a few minutes. You don't need special tools or fabrication work.
Finish Options
It comes standard with a clear anodized finish for corrosion protection. If you want it in black, you can add a durable black powder coat finish for an extra cost—just factor in an additional 1-2 weeks for shipping when you go that route. You can also order it as-is and apply your own powder coat if you'd rather handle the finishing yourself.
