Can-Am Commander Flip Windshield

When you're out on rough terrain, your windshield takes a beating. Mud, rocks, branches—they all come at you while you're driving. A flip windshield lets you adjust your protection and airflow on the fly, so you're never stuck with just one setup for the whole ride.

This flip windshield works three different ways. Run it fully closed to block wind, rain, and mud. Crack it open in the middle position for fresh air while staying shielded. Or flip it down when you want maximum breeze and visibility. The built-in gas struts do the heavy lifting—you can open and close it right from your seat without struggling.

What Comes With It

The windshield ships fully assembled, so you're not spending hours putting pieces together. You get a foam gasket and bulb seal that seal tight against the frame, so wind doesn't whistle through. Metal cross-braces and secure clamps hold everything rock-solid—no rattling, no movement, even on washboard trails. The gas struts keep the windshield from slamming down or bouncing around when you hit bumps.

The Material and Coating

Polycarbonate is the way to go here. It's tough enough to last as long as your machine and won't shatter like glass when trail debris kicks up. SuperATV applies a hard coating called XR Optic on both sides. This coating resists scratches from branches, rocks, and even your cleaning cloth. It also blocks UV rays, so you won't get sun spots, yellowing, or fading no matter how many hours you rack up outdoors. The polycarbonate itself is about 250 times stronger than glass and holds up to real abuse.

Important notes: Not compatible with Can-Am Sport Roof on 2011-2020 models, but works with most other soft or hard tops. May restrict opening of the glovebox and hood.
