The Commander MAX's longer wheelbase means there's more frame sitting between the wheels, and that exposed middle section loves to find rocks, stumps, and ledges on the trail. This full frame skid plate set with a front bash plate wraps that vulnerable area in aircraft-grade aluminum, so impacts hit the plate instead of bending or cracking your frame.

Two Material Options
3/16" aluminum (5052-H32): Solid aircraft-grade stuff that's been proven on the trails. Tough and reliable without excessive weight.
3/16" aluminum with 1/4" UHMW overlay: Goes the extra mile for harder hits. The plastic layer on top absorbs more shock when you're running rougher country or hitting things head-on.
Black Powder Coat Finish
If you want the skids to look finished and match your machine, you can add a black powder coat for $120. Fair warning—if you go this route, tack on an extra 1-2 weeks before it ships out.
