Can-Am Defender Atlas Pro BFT Suspension Kit

Running bigger tires doesn't have to mean stacking a heavy lift kit on your Defender. This suspension setup lets you fit 34-inch tires while keeping things planted and stable—no unnecessary height added to your ride. The trick is a pair of forward-offset A-arms paired with shock brackets and spring spacers that give you a modest 2" lift focused exactly where you need it.

The Atlas Pro A-arms here are made from 1.5" DOM steel—that's half an inch thicker than what comes stock and a quarter-inch beefier than our standard off-road design. We reinforce the stress points that typically fail on factory parts: CNC-cut steel brackets hold everything together, and billet aluminum spring spacers keep the suspension geometry working right. A UV-resistant powder coat stops rust before it starts, and you get an extra 1.5" of ground clearance to clear rocks and ruts.

These arms come with a lifetime warranty. That's how solid they are.

You've got four choices depending on how hard you're going to push things:

Keller Ball Joints: Two-piece design that threads on like a bolt—no snap ring to worry about popping loose. Made from chromoly steel and tool steel, they're greaseable so you can service them down the road instead of replacing them.

Super Duty 300M: Top-tier material—300M grade steel is the strongest stuff available for ball joints. Minimal neck narrowing and an adjustable stud mean you're getting 2.25 times the strength of stock joints.

Heavy-Duty: A step up from stock. Hardened 4340 VAR steel with zinc plating that can handle double the load of an OEM joint. Built for flips, hill climbs, and anything in between.

Standard Duty: Chromoly steel studs and housings, zinc plated throughout. Matches or beats stock strength without the dealer price tag.

Order the ball joints with preassembly and we'll press them in for you—no charge. You skip the hassle of buying or renting a press and the headache of doing it yourself. If you go without preassembly, you'll need to reuse your stock ball joints.
