Description
Winter doesn't have to mean staying off your Can-Am Defender HD10. This cab heater pulls warmth straight from your engine's coolant system—just like the heater in your truck or car—so you can actually stay warm while you're out riding in cold weather. No more frozen fingers gripping the steering wheel.
The whole setup mounts under your dash and ties into your machine's existing ignition and power lines, so wiring is straightforward. You get all the hoses you need, drill bits for mounting, and mounting plates cut specifically for the Defender HD10. The unit has adjustable temperature and fan speed controls so you can dial in exactly what feels right.
What Comes With It
Everything needed for a complete install: radiator hoses, mounting hardware, drill bits, and defrost vents that route through your dash. The defrost vent keeps your windshield clear of snow, ice, and fog without looking like an aftermarket add-on. You can also grab an optional second-row heater if you want to keep rear passengers comfortable—it mounts in front of the center seat and uses the same temperature and fan controls.
Materials & Build
SuperATV builds this unit with high-grade radiator hoses rated to handle temperatures from -40°F all the way up to 285°F, so whether your engine runs hot or it's brutally cold outside, everything stays reliable. The hoses and core are tough enough for real winter riding.
Speed Up The Warmth
Want heat faster? Two options exist. A quick-start flow valve cuts warm-up time in half by routing all coolant directly to your heater core when the engine's cold, then automatically opens to send flow through the radiator once things heat up. An idle flow pump gets hot air moving in about 30 seconds by keeping coolant circulating even when you're sitting still or creeping along. You only need one of each accessory even if you add the second-row heater. For maximum speed, you can run both together.
A grille cover is also available—it blocks cold air flowing over your radiator, warming up the coolant faster and boosting heater performance. It's PVC-backed polyester and installs and removes easily. Just don't use it when temps are above freezing or your engine will overheat.
