Your Can-Am Defender HD5 comes with a stock skid plate that honestly doesn't do much to protect you. Underneath the floorboards, there's basically open plastic—which means rocks, sticks, and trail debris can tear right through and damage the undercarriage or worse, your legs. A real skid plate changes that.
This full-length skid plate bolts underneath your Defender HD5 and shields everything from the front bumper all the way back. You get solid protection without worrying about what's hiding on the trail ahead.
What You're Getting
The plate is built from 1/2" thick ARMW, a proprietary blend of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. SuperATV engineered this material to resist punctures and impact, wear down slowly even with constant abuse, and slide smoothly over rocks and roots without grabbing. The whole assembly uses countersunk hardware so nothing sticks out to snag brush or terrain.
Built-in drain holes let water and mud run off instead of pooling, so maintenance stays simple. The panels interlock for a solid installation without flex or rattle.
