Can-Am Defender HD5 Flip Windshield

What You're Getting
The windshield ships mostly assembled, so installation takes just a few minutes. Inside you'll find the polycarbonate panel, gas struts, bulb seals, foam gaskets, and heavy-duty mounting clamps. Everything needed to bolt it on and start riding is in the box.

Material and Build
This windshield is cut from 1/4-inch polycarbonate with XR Optic Hard Coating on the surface. That combination means it resists scratches from branches and handles UV rays without turning yellow or cloudy over time. The polycarbonate itself is roughly 250 times tougher than regular glass and 25 times stronger than acrylic—you can ride hard without worrying about it cracking or fogging up.

Gas struts hold the panel open or closed smoothly, so it won't slam on bumpy terrain. The bulb seal and foam gasket work together to keep water from leaking in where the windshield meets the frame. SuperATV manufactures these in Madison, Indiana, and tests each one before it ships out.
