Description
Rain, mud, and rocks flying up at you can really ruin a trail day. This full windshield for the Can-Am Defender HD7 keeps all that stuff off you and your passenger while you're out there working. It's made from thick polycarbonate that won't shatter or crack like glass would, so it'll stand up to the abuse off-road throws at it.
What You're Getting
The windshield comes ready to bolt on—it's precision-cut to match your HD7's hood lines. You get a rubber seal that runs the full length and keeps rattles out, plus heavy-duty mounting clamps that don't let it shift around even when you're bouncing over rough terrain. Installation takes just a bit of time and some basic tools.
The Material
This is 1/4-inch polycarbonate—the real deal for off-road use. It's about 250 times tougher than regular glass and way more impact-resistant than acrylic, so rocks and branches won't leave you stranded with a busted windshield. SuperATV's XR Optic hard coating on top handles scratches better and keeps UV rays from turning it yellow over time, so it stays clear no matter how many sunny days you rack up.
Full or Vented—Which One?
Full windshields seal you in completely—best choice if you're in cold weather or dealing with mud and water spray. Setup is dead simple.
Vented full windshields let you adjust airflow to cut down on fogging, but you still get full coverage. If you want to run wipers, the glass versions work great for that.
Go with full if you want the tightest seal. Pick vented if you want to control how much air moves through.
