Can-Am Defender HD8 Sliding Rear Windshield

When you're running your Can-Am Defender HD8 across dusty trails, the last thing you want is a cab full of grit and debris. A rear windshield solves that problem by keeping the air cleaner inside while you work or cruise. If you've already got a front windshield, adding one in back cuts down on the swirling dust that sneaks in from behind.

How the Sliding Window Works

This rear window features a slide-open design that gives you real control over what's happening inside your cab. On a hot day, crack it open for fresh air. When you're dealing with mud, rain, or heavy dust, slide it shut. The lightly tinted glass cuts down on eye strain from sun glare, and it's scratch-resistant so it stays clear after plenty of trail time. Reaching into the bed to grab gear is quick and easy too.

Built to Take a Beating

The whole setup is made from 1/4-inch polycarbonate—that's the same tough material used in protective gear and industrial shields. It's way stronger than acrylic or regular glass, handles flying rocks and trail debris without cracking, and weighs next to nothing. A full-length rubber seal runs along the frame, and heavy-duty clamps hold everything rock-solid so there's no rattle or flex even on rough ground.

Easy to Mount

Installation is straightforward—you can get this bolted on in an afternoon without special tools or headaches. The frame fits your Defender HD8 precisely, so no cutting or forcing parts together.
