That means your steering stays tight longer, and the tension spring doesn't have to work as hard to take up slack.

There's also a grease fitting built right in, so after a muddy day you can actually clean the thing out instead of letting water and grit sit in there corroding everything.

Tie Rods Built to Last

The tie rods on this kit use swaged 7/8" tube construction—that's the section that flares at the ends to add strength without adding weight. The rod ends themselves are beefier than stock, and they're threaded for 16 mm on the rack side and 14 mm where they connect to your steering arms. All of that means more grip and less flex when you're fighting your way through rocks or debris.
