This Ricochet skid plate kit shields all the stuff that matters: your frame, A-arms, and CV boots. It's a 12-piece aluminum setup built to soak up hits so your rig keeps running.
What You Get
The kit comes with everything bolted to your frame and A-arms, plus a rock slider to guard the sides. All the hardware you need to bolt it on is included—no hunting for fasteners. Fits Can-Am Maverick MAX X-RS Turbo (2016-2018) only.
Materials & Build
Aluminum construction keeps the weight reasonable while staying tough enough for hard use. You've also got the option to add UHMW (ultra-high molecular weight plastic) to certain pieces if you want extra impact absorption—it's tough stuff that absorbs punishment better than metal alone.
Finish Options
Out of the box, you're getting the aluminum as-is. If you want black powder coat protection, you've got two routes:
- Visible pieces only: We coat just the A-arm guards and rock sliders black for $180 extra. Good choice if you're going with UHMW elsewhere and want those aluminum parts to match.
- Complete kit: Everything gets coated—front bash plate, A-arm guards, rock sliders, and frame skids all in black for $275 extra. Adds 1-2 weeks to shipping time.
