Here's what makes this system different. The housing uses 40% more material than stock, which means it won't crack under stress. The rack gear itself is 15% larger and paired with a Teflon bushing that resists wear. After 50,000 cycles of testing, RackBoss showed virtually no fatigue — competitors were already showing obvious wear at 30,000.

The tie rod ends are oversized 4130 Chromoly steel, heat-treated and finished to handle the abuse. They give you a bigger bearing surface, which translates to real strength and reliability when you're pushing hard. Misalignment bushings are built in, so your steering stays true even when things get rough.

If you're running a big lift kit, the standard tie rod geometry won't reach the spindle without overextending your joints. That's where the Z-bend comes in. The bend lets you get proper angles without strain, and the solid 4140 steel tube gives you the strength to handle it. The Z-bend ends use the same high-strength 4130 Chromoly as the main system.
