Description
These guards fit 2013-2018 CAN-AM OUTLANDER 500 MAX machines. If you're running hard trails, your A-arms and CV boots take a beating from rocks, logs, and rough terrain. These aluminum guards sit in front of and behind those components to keep them safe from damage.
2013-2016 models use SKU 749A; 2017-2018 models use SKU 927A

How it's built
The guards are made from 3/16" thick 5052-H32 aluminum. That's solid material that'll take impacts without bending or cracking under normal riding.
Black powder coat option
Want a finished black look instead? You can add a black powder coat finish for an extra $50. Just plan on waiting 1-2 weeks longer for it to ship out while it gets coated and cures.
Assembly notes
When you bolt these on, use blue Loctite on your fasteners instead of anti-seize ā it'll hold things in place better.
The video demo you'll find online shows installation on a 1000 model, but the mounting process is basically the same for the 500 Max.
