Your Outlander's undercarriage takes a beating out on the trail — rocks, roots, stumps, and logs can tear into your frame and suspension components if there's nothing protecting them. This Ricochet skid plate set bolts up and covers all the vulnerable spots, keeping your machine running strong even when you're picking your way through rough terrain.
What comes in the box
You get a complete frame skid plate set, plus front and rear A-arm guards and CV boot guards to cover those joints. Left and right floorboard guards are included too. All the bolts and mounting hardware you need are in there — no hunting around for fasteners.
Material choices
You've got two ways to build this:
- 3/16" 5052-H32 aluminum — solid protection at a good price
- 3/16" aluminum with a 1/4" UHMW layer bonded on top — adds a tougher, lower-friction sliding surface that takes abuse even better
Black powder coat finish
Want your skids to look finished and resist corrosion? Add a black powder coat finish. Keep in mind it'll tack on 1-2 weeks to your ship time.
You can coat just the visible pieces (A-arm guards and front bash plate) for an extra $70, or go with the complete package (all visible parts plus frame skids) for $150.
