3/16" 5052-H32 Aluminum: Solid, proven aluminum that'll take whatever the trail serves up. This is what comes standard.
3/16" Aluminum + 1/4" UHMW: If you want maximum shock absorption and better glide over chunky terrain, the UHMW layer adds serious cushioning against big impacts. This combo is for riders who push harder.

Black Powder Coat Option
You can add a black powder coat finish for $100 if you want the whole plate set looking sharp and sleek instead of bare metal. Fair warning: if you go this route, tack on an extra 1 to 2 weeks for shipping while the finish gets applied.
