This skid plate kit fits 2016-2024 CAN-AM Outlander 850 X-MR machines.

Your undercarriage takes a beating out there — rocks, logs, stumps, and rough terrain all take shots at your belly pan and frame. This Ricochet skid plate system is built to absorb those hits and keep the important stuff underneath protected from damage. It's a full frame setup that includes a bash plate up front, plus all the bolts and hardware you need to bolt it on.
What You're Getting
One complete skid plate set with bash plate included. Everything you need to install it is in the box — no hunting for hardware.
Material Choices
You've got two routes here:
- 3/16" 5052-H32 aluminum — tough, corrosion-resistant, solid protection
- 3/16" aluminum with 1/4" UHMW plastic bonded on — adds extra sliding protection and noise dampening
About The Black Powder Coat
Want a black finish instead of bare aluminum? We can do that. Comes in two levels:
- Visible pieces only: $20 extra — we coat just the front bash plate
- Complete coverage: $100 extra — everything gets the black treatment, front to back
Fair warning: adding powder coat tacks on 1-2 extra weeks to shipping time. Black is the only color we offer for this finish.
