Can-Am Outlander MAX XT 850 Frame Skid Plate Set (2016–2026)
Your Outlander MAX XT 850 is ready for serious terrain, and the undercarriage needs real protection to match. Ricochet's frame skid plate set with integrated bash plate shields the frame and vulnerable belly components from rocks, stumps, logs, and all the gnarly stuff that lives on the trail. Everything bolts right on—no modifications, no surprises.
What You're Getting
The set includes a full frame skid plate assembly and bash plate, plus all the bolts and hardware you need to get it mounted. No hunting for fasteners or making extra runs to the parts store.
Pick Your Setup
- 3/16" 5052-H32 Aluminum — Solid protection, proven on the trail, works for every year in this range.
- 3/16" Aluminum + 1/4" UHMW — Adds a polyethylene layer on the bottom that slides over rocks and obstacles smoother. Go this route if you're hammering through really technical terrain.
Black Powder Coat Option
Want it to look more finished and matched to your machine? Add a black powder coat finish to your whole skid plate assembly for $100. It looks sharp and holds up just as tough as the bare metal. Fair warning: if you go this route, tack on another 1 to 2 weeks for shipping so we can get the coating done right.
