That's what this Ricochet skid plate does: it sits underneath and takes those hits so your engine and frame don't have to.
The plate is built from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum that's .160 inch thick—solid stuff that won't buckle when you need it most. It comes with custom brackets and hardware made specifically for your bike, so there's no drilling or tapping into the frame. Just bolt it on and you're done. The whole thing ships with a clear anodize coat baked on, which means it'll resist corrosion right out of the box.
