Your Gas Gas EX 250F's undercarriage takes a beating on the trail—rocks, roots, stumps, all of it coming up at your engine and frame. This Ricochet skid plate is built to absorb those hits so your bike doesn't. It's a solid piece of aluminum that covers the vulnerable stuff underneath, and it bolts on without any drilling or welding required.
What You're Getting
The plate itself is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick—that's real material that can handle abuse. It comes with heavy-duty brackets and all the hardware you need. Everything bolts straight on to your 2021-2025 EX 250F with no modification to the bike. The standard finish is a clear anodize, which gives it some extra corrosion protection out of the box.
Installation
This isn't a complicated job. The bracket system is designed so you just bolt it in place. No drilling, no tapping, no fabrication work. If you can turn a wrench, you can get this mounted in an afternoon.
Color & Finish Options
It ships with a clear anodize finish as standard. If you want something tougher looking, you can add a durable black powder coat for extra durability and a cleaner appearance. Fair warning: if you go with the black powder coat, tack on an extra 1–2 weeks to your shipping time since it has to be finished separately.
