If you're running a Gas Gas EX 450F between 2021 and 2026, this skid plate sits underneath and protects your engine and frame from rocks, logs, stumps, and whatever else your trails throw at you. Without it, a hard hit to the undercarriage can mean expensive damage. This one bolts on with custom hardware—no drilling or tapping required—and comes ready to work right out of the box.
What You're Getting
The skid is cut specifically for your EX 450F model year. It includes everything you need to mount it: heavy-duty brackets and all the hardware. Installation is straightforward and doesn't require any modification to your bike.
How It's Built
Ricochet made this from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, the same stuff they use across their whole line. It's .160 inch thick, which means it'll take a real beating and keep protecting what's underneath. It comes with a clear anodize finish that adds a layer of corrosion protection on top of the aluminum.
Finish Options
If you want a black powder coat instead of the standard clear anodize, you can add that on. The black powder coat is durable and looks sharp, but it'll add 1–2 weeks to your ship time since it has to cure.
