Description
1988-2007 CR250 Kickstand
Your CR250 needs a solid kickstand that won't fold up or snap when you park on uneven ground. This Ricochet kickstand is built from chromoly steel to handle the weight of your bike and stay put no matter what terrain you're dealing with. It comes in two mounting styles — pick whichever works best for your setup.
Two ways to mount it
The clamp-on version wraps around your swingarm with no drilling required — just tighten it down and you're done. The bolt-on style fastens behind the foot peg, also with no holes to drill. Either way, you're looking at a 5-minute install.
What you're getting
- Shaft made from 4130 chromoly steel
- Bracket and clamp are heat-treated T1 carbon steel — about 10 times tougher than regular mild steel
- Heavy-duty spring that won't wear out from constant vibration and use
- Total weight is 1.5 lbs
- Sits up and back when you're riding so it won't catch on anything
Why chromoly works for this job
Chromoly is the same material they use in aircraft because it's incredibly strong but still flexes a little — it won't snap or shatter under stress. Aluminum kickstands bend and break. This one absorbs hits and keeps working, which is exactly what you need when you're parking on rocks and roots.
Color options
You can get a custom powder coat finish in a color that matches your OEM parts for a cleaner look. If you want this finish, add on 1-2 weeks to your ship time.
