If you ride a 1998-2007 Honda CR125, you know the undercarriage takes a beating. Rocks, logs, stumps, and rough terrain can tear into your engine and frame without protection. A Ricochet skid plate sits underneath and absorbs those impacts so your bike doesn't. It's basically insurance for your CR125.
What You Get
The skid plate itself is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160 inches thick. It bolts on using custom-made Chromoly brackets and fasteners—these are over twice as strong as regular steel. Everything you need comes in the box. No drilling, no tapping, no modification to your frame.
Installation is Quick
The custom hardware is designed to go on fast. You're looking at a few minutes of work, not hours. Once it's mounted, the plate stays tight and won't rattle around while you ride.
Finish Options
Out of the box, it comes with a clear anodized coating that adds an extra layer of corrosion resistance. If you want something different, you can add a durable black powder coat finish for $45—just know that adds 1-2 weeks to your shipping time. You can also have us prep the surface so you can powder coat it yourself with whatever color you like.
