Honda CR500 Ricochet Aluminum Skid Plate

If you're running a Honda CR500 from 1987 to 2001, this Ricochet skid plate is built to shield the undercarriage from rocks, logs, stumps, and whatever else you hit out there. It's a solid piece of aluminum that bolts on without any drilling or welding—just mount it and you're done.

What You Get
The plate itself is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick, so it's tough enough to take repeated hits. It comes with heavy-duty brackets and all the hardware you need for installation. The whole thing mounts up without requiring you to drill or tap into your bike, and the setup is straightforward enough that most guys can handle it in their garage.

Finish
Out of the box, it comes with a clear anodize coating that adds a layer of corrosion protection. If you want something different, you can add a durable black powder coat finish for an extra fee—just keep in mind that choosing the powder coat option will add 1-2 weeks to your shipping time. You can also prep it yourself and apply your own powder coat if you're into that.
