Your CRF250R needs a solid kickstand that won't fold up when you're parked on uneven ground or soft dirt. A cheap kickstand bends or sinks into the terrain, and then your bike's down. Ricochet makes a kickstand from chromoly steel — the same material used in aircraft — so it'll hold your bike up, shift after shift, without giving up.
What You're Getting
The kickstand bolts right on behind the foot peg. No drilling, no welding, just a few bolts and you're done in about five minutes. It comes ready to install.
Why Chromoly Matters
Chromoly is tough stuff. It doesn't bend or snap like aluminum does when you park on rocks or roots. The shaft is made from 4130 chromoly steel, and the bracket is heat-treated carbon steel — ten times stronger than plain mild steel. The spring is high-tension, so it won't get fatigued from your bike's vibration and constant use. The whole thing weighs just 1.5 lbs, so you're not dragging around dead weight.
About The Finish
Ricochet offers a custom powder coat color that matches what Honda put on the bike from the factory, so it looks like it belongs there. If you pick the powder coat, add an extra week or so to shipping time.
