Description
If you ride a Honda CRF250X between 2004 and 2017, this skid plate is built to take the hits that your undercarriage can't. Rocks, logs, stumps, and rough terrain will find their way under your bike—that's where this protection comes in. It bolts right on without any drilling or modification to your frame, and the whole job takes just a few minutes.
What You're Getting
The skid plate itself is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick. It comes with everything you need to bolt it on—Ricochet's own mounting hardware that's designed specifically for this job, so no hunting around for random fasteners. The aluminum arrives with a clear anodize finish baked in, which adds a layer of corrosion resistance right out of the box.
Installation
No drilling into your frame, no tapping threads. The included bracket mounts straight to existing points on your CRF250X. Installation is straightforward and takes minimal time.
Finish Options
If you want black powder coat instead of the standard clear anodize, we can apply that for you—just know it'll add about 1–2 weeks to your ship time. You can also choose to apply your own powder coat if you'd rather; the surface comes ready for that if you want to tackle it yourself.
