The skid bolts right on using Ricochet's own mounting hardware—no drilling, no tapping into your frame. Installation takes about as long as a coffee break. The plate itself is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum and runs .160 inch thick, so it's built solid enough to actually stand up to impact instead of just bending on first contact. It ships with a clear anodize finish that adds a layer of corrosion resistance.
