3/16" Aluminum — SKU=8771F
The base option. We use 5052-H32 aluminum because it won't rust and it's tough enough to take hard hits. Good solid protection for trails, farm work, and hunting trips.

3/16" Aluminum + 1/4" UHMW Overlay — SKU=8771F-P
The frame skids get a thick layer of ultra-high molecular weight plastic bonded directly to the aluminum. UHMW is slippery—rocks and logs slide right off instead of catching and hanging you up. That matters if you're threading through tight timber or boulder-filled washes. The plastic won't separate or peel because it's mechanically fastened, not glued.

Finish Options

Want your skid plates to look finished? Add a black powder coat that protects the metal and gives everything a clean appearance. Just know it'll take longer to ship.
