Honda Pioneer 1000 Flip Windshield

When you're pushing your Honda Pioneer 1000 through rough country, your windshield takes a beating—flying rocks, branches, trail spray, and dust all come at you. A flip windshield solves this by giving you three positions in one: completely closed for full weather protection, cracked open for ventilation without losing coverage, or flipped down for maximum airflow when you need it. You control it all from the driver's seat with gas struts that do the heavy lifting, so there's no wrestling with it at speed or struggling to prop it up.

What You're Getting

The kit includes a foam gasket and bulb seal that create a tight barrier when closed—no wind noise or rain sneaking in. Metal clamps and a cross-brace keep everything locked solid so nothing rattles or shifts on washboard terrain. The gas struts stay smooth and won't collapse unexpectedly or bounce around. A quick-release latch holds everything secure through bumps and rough riding.

The Material That Actually Holds Up

This windshield is made from polycarbonate, not acrylic or regular glass. Polycarbonate is 250 times stronger than glass and won't shatter if a rock hits it. SuperATV applies a proprietary XR scratch-resistant hard coating on both sides. This coating resists scratches from branches, rocks, rooster tails, and even your wash cloth. It also blocks UV rays, so you won't get sun spots, yellowing, or fading even after seasons in the sun.
