Honda Pioneer 500 Scratch Resistant Flip Windshield

When you're out on the trail, your face and upper body take the brunt of flying rocks, dust, branches, and spray. A flip windshield lets you dial in exactly how much protection you want—without being locked into one setup. This one for your Honda Pioneer 500 gives you three positions: full closure to block everything out, a vented middle setting to let air flow while staying shielded, or a half-open position when you want maximum airflow and cooling.

How It Works

The windshield flips and locks using a multi-stage latch system, so you can switch positions on the fly. Gas struts handle the heavy lifting—opening and closing is smooth and controlled from your seat, no wrestling with it or worrying about it slamming shut on you. The latching mechanism locks tight at each position and won't rattle or shift, even when you're bouncing over rough ground.

What You're Getting

The windshield ships fully assembled and ready to bolt on. Inside the box you'll find a foam gasket and bulb seal to eliminate wind noise and leaks when it's closed. Heavy-duty clamps and a reinforced metal cross-brace keep everything solid and rattle-free. Gas struts are pre-installed, so setup is straightforward.

The Material

SuperATV uses polycarbonate because it's tough—about 250 times stronger than glass—and it actually holds up to years of sun, trail debris, and regular use. The windshield is coated on both sides with a proprietary XR hard coating that resists scratches from branches, rocks, road spray, and even your cleaning cloth. It also blocks UV rays, so you won't see yellowing, sun spots, or fading even with constant exposure.
