Your Honda Talon 1000X-4 takes a beating on the trail — rocks, stumps, logs, whatever you hit down there. This Rock Slider Skid Plate Set keeps that stuff from tearing up your undercarriage. It's a pair of sliders (left and right) made from solid 5052-H32 aluminum that bolt right on and look like they belong there.
What You're Getting
The kit comes with both rock slider skid plates and every bolt, bracket, and fastener you need to mount them. If you want even more coverage underneath, Ricochet also makes a 2-piece Mini Rock Slider set that works with this system.
Build and Materials
These are built from 5052-H32 aluminum — the stuff that's tough enough to handle real abuse without weighing you down. Everything is made in the USA and designed to take hits and keep on working. All your mounting hardware comes in the box.
Finish Options
Out of the box, you get the aluminum as-is. Want black? You can add a black powder coat finish for an extra $115. The Mini Rock Sliders can get an anodized finish for $50 more. Fair warning: if you go with either of those finishes, tack on 1–2 weeks to your shipping time while it gets done.
