The Build
Both versions start with solid 3/16" 5052-H32 aluminum — it's tough, resists rust, and handles hits from trail obstacles without cracking. If you want more cushion against really hard impacts, go with the aluminum/UHMW option. That one adds a 1/4" thick layer of UHMW plastic on top, which soaks up energy and gives you extra peace of mind on gnarly terrain.
Finish Options
Your guards ship ready to go as-is. If you want them in black powder coat instead, add $25 to your order — just know that bumps your shipping out by a week or two while they get that coating applied.
