Description
Your Honda TRX400EX's undercarriage takes a beating out on the trail — rocks, logs, stumps, and ruts all waiting to dent or damage what's underneath. This aluminum skid plate from Ricochet bolts on to cover the frame and shield those vital components from impact. It's built from solid .160" 5052 H-32 aluminum and comes with all the mounting hardware you need to bolt it straight to your 1999-2015 TRX400EX.
What You Get
The plate itself is one piece, designed to span the full frame area where the damage usually happens. All fasteners are in the box — no hunting around for the right bolts and brackets. Installation is straightforward if you've got a socket set and a little time.
Built Tough
Ricochet uses .160" aluminum (that's 5052 H-32 grade) because it's thick enough to actually take a hit without buckling, yet it won't weigh down your quad unnecessarily. The metal is finished and ready to bolt on as-is.
Black Powder Coat Option
Want a black powder coat finish instead? You can add that for an extra $40, but plan on waiting an extra 1-2 weeks for it to ship while it gets coated. It's only available in black.
