The material: This is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum that's .160 inch thick. That thickness means it's got real substance to it and won't flex or dent easily when you're beating it up out there. It ships with a clear anodize coat that gives you a solid layer of protection against corrosion and wear.

About finish options: You can get it as-is with the clear anodize, or add a black powder coat finish for extra durability and a cleaner look.
