This Ricochet skid plate bolts right onto your Honda XR70 (1989-2003 models) and shields your undercarriage from rocks, logs, stumps, and whatever else you hit out there. Without protection, you're looking at a bent frame, cracked cases, or worse. This one's built solid and installs without any drilling or tapping into your bike.
What You're Getting
The plate itself is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick—plenty of beef to take a beating. It comes with heavy-duty proprietary brackets that bolt up clean, no modification needed. The whole thing ships with a clear anodize coat that helps it resist corrosion.
Installation
No drilling, no tapping, no hassle. Everything you need is in the box, and you'll have it bolted on in under an hour. The brackets are engineered to fit your XR70 perfectly and mount without any fuss.
Finish Options
It comes standard with the clear anodize finish. If you want a black powder coat instead, we can do that for you—adds a slick look and extra durability. Just note that the black powder coat option will push your ship date out another 1-2 weeks. You can also order it as-is and powder coat it yourself at home if you prefer.
