It bolts on without any drilling or tapping into your frame, and it's made from solid aircraft-grade aluminum that'll actually last.

The skid plate comes with everything you need to bolt it on—heavy-duty brackets and proprietary hardware that makes installation straightforward. No special tools or frame modifications required. It ships with a clear anodize finish for corrosion protection right out of the box.
Material and Build
This thing is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick. That's tough enough to take repeated hits without denting or cracking on you. The clear anodize coating adds an extra layer of protection against rust and wear.
Finish Options
Want something more than the clear anodize? You can add a black powder coat finish for better looks and durability. If you go that route, plan on an extra 1–2 weeks for shipping since it has to be coated after your order comes in. Black is the only color available for the powder coat option.
