It's made from solid aluminum and bolts on without any drilling or modification to your bike—just mount it with the included hardware and you're done.
What You're Getting
The skid plate comes as one complete unit ready to install. You'll get heavy-duty mounting brackets that bolt directly to your frame, no machine work needed. Everything you need is in the box.
Material And Build
This thing is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick. That's the same material used in real aircraft, so it can take a serious hit without cracking or denting easily. It ships with a clear anodize finish that adds an extra layer of corrosion protection and keeps the aluminum looking sharp.
Finish Options
Want a black powder coat instead? You can add that for extra durability and a finished look—just know that the black coat adds about 1-2 weeks to your ship time since it gets applied after we build it. If you'd rather handle the color yourself, the surface comes ready to accept whatever powder coat finish you want to throw at it.
