Ricochet made this from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, the same stuff used in planes and helicopters because it doesn't crack under stress. The plate is .160 inch thick—solid enough to handle repeated abuse without failing. It ships with a clear anodize coating that adds a layer of corrosion protection, so it'll hold up even in wet conditions.

Finish Options
You can go with the standard clear anodize as-is. If you want black, you can add a durable black powder coat for extra visual appeal. Powder coat orders run 1–2 weeks longer to ship since we're applying it after we build your plate.
