Kawasaki KLX250S Ricochet Aluminum Skid Plate

Your Kawasaki KLX250S takes a beating out there — rocks, logs, stumps, whatever the trail throws at it. That's what a skid plate is for. We completely redesigned ours from scratch, and it's now our toughest option yet. Full coverage means your undercarriage stays safe while you focus on riding. It bolts on with custom hardware, no drilling into your frame, and the whole job takes minutes.

Aluminum or Aluminum + Plastic

The base skid is 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160" thick with a clear anodized finish. If you want even more sliding and cushioning when you hit something hard, we've got an option to add a UHMW plastic layer on top of the aluminum. It gives you extra glide and shock absorption for the roughest terrain.

Already running our skid? You can grab the UHMW overlay piece separately (SKU 266-U) and bolt it to what you've got — no need to swap the whole plate.

Why Chromoly Hardware Matters

Our brackets are made from Chromoly steel, which is more than twice as strong as regular mild steel. Everything stays tight and quiet, and you can pull it off when you need to without any hassle.

About The Black Powder Coat

Want a black powder-coated finish instead of the natural anodized look? Add that option, but plan on 1 to 2 extra weeks for shipping. Black is the only color available for the powder coat.
