Kawasaki KLX400 Ricochet Aluminum Skid Plate

This Ricochet skid plate bolts right under your Kawasaki KLX400 (2003–2005) to shield the engine and frame from rocks, logs, and whatever else you hit on the trail. Without protection down there, you're looking at bent cases, cracked fins, or worse. This plate takes the hits so your bike doesn't have to.

What You Get
The skid comes with all the brackets and hardware you need—no drilling or tapping required. Just bolt it on using the included heavy-duty mounting kit and you're done. Installation is straightforward and doesn't need any modifications to your bike.

Build and Material
Ricochet made this from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick. It's solid enough to handle real abuse without being unnecessarily heavy. The standard finish is clear anodize, which protects the aluminum from corrosion and oxidation so it holds up season after season.
