Kawasaki KX250 Ricochet Clamp-on Kickstand

If you've got a 1988-2008 KX250, you know how easy it is to snap or bend a stock kickstand. A Ricochet kickstand takes the abuse — it's made from real chromoly steel that won't fold up when your bike's parked on uneven ground or takes a hard landing. This thing clamps tight to your swing-arm and stays put.

What You're Getting

The kickstand shaft is 4130 chromoly — that's the same material used in aerospace. The bracket and clamp are heat-treated T1 carbon steel, which is about 10 times tougher than regular mild steel. The spring is high-tension steel that won't wear out from constant flexing and vibrations. It weighs 1.5 lbs and mounts in about 5 minutes with basic tools.

Why Chromoly Instead of Aluminum

Aluminum bends. Chromoly doesn't — at least not easily. It's flexible enough to absorb impacts without cracking, but strong enough to handle the weight of your bike sitting on rough terrain day after day. You get durability without adding unnecessary bulk, and that matters when you're out riding hard.

Finish Options

Your kickstand ships as-is, or you can add a black powder coat finish for a color match closer to factory. The powder coat adds extra protection and takes 1-2 weeks longer to ship.
