This is a complete skid plate made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum—the same stuff used in actual aircraft because it's tough and won't crack when something hard hits it. It's .160 inch thick, which means it's built to handle real abuse. Comes with heavy-duty brackets and all the hardware you need to bolt it on. No drilling, no tapping into your frame—just bolt it straight to your bike and you're done.
Installation
The whole thing goes on easy. You get proprietary mounting hardware designed specifically so nothing lines up wrong. Most riders have it mounted in under an hour.
Finish Options
Out of the box, it ships with a clear anodize coating that gives you solid protection from the elements. If you want something different, you can add a black powder coat finish for extra durability and a clean look. Going with the black powder coat will tack on 1–2 weeks to your shipping time. Or if you'd rather do your own thing, the surface comes ready for you to powder coat however you like at no extra charge.
