Description
Your KX450F needs a solid kickstand that won't fold up or break when you're sitting on rough ground. Ricochet makes a kickstand built from chromoly steel that bolts right on behind the foot peg — no drilling, no mess. Takes about five minutes to install and it'll outlast the bike.
What You're Getting
The shaft is made from 4130 chromoly steel, which is the same material used in aircraft frames. The bracket and clamp are heat-treated T1 carbon steel — about 10 times tougher than regular steel. The spring inside is heavy-duty and won't wear out from constant vibration and use. Everything weighs just 1.5 lbs total, and it sits up and away while you're riding so it won't catch on anything.
Why Chromoly Works Better
Chromoly is flexible and strong at the same time. It can take a hit without snapping like aluminum does, and it won't bend and stay bent when the bike's parked on uneven ground. It's built to handle the weight of the bike and whatever rough terrain throws at it.
Color Options
The kickstand comes with a powder coat finish that matches the OEM colors on your bike. If you want black powder coat instead, add $45 and plan on an extra week or two for shipping.
