What You're Getting

The plate comes with all the brackets and hardware you need mounted out of the box. Everything bolts straight on — no tapping holes in your frame, no special tools required. Installation takes an afternoon if you're taking your time.

Build Options

You've got two choices depending on your riding style and budget:

• Aluminum with clear coat (2021-2026): 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160 inch thick, with a clear anodized finish that fights rust and corrosion. This is the standard setup.
• Aluminum plus plastic layer (2023-2026 only): SKU 349-P — combines 3/16" aluminum backing with a 1/4" layer of UHMW plastic on the impact side. The plastic soaks up hits and slides over rocks better than aluminum alone, plus it quiets things down if you're tired of clanging sounds.

Finish Options

Both versions ship with the anodized or standard aluminum finish. If you want a black powder coat instead, that's available — just plan on an extra 1-2 weeks for shipping while it gets coated. Or if you want to powder coat it yourself down the road, the surface comes ready for that at no extra charge.
