This Ricochet skid plate sits underneath and keeps that damage from reaching your engine and frame. Installation is straightforward — no drilling required — and it comes with everything you need to get it mounted.
What You're Getting
The plate itself is built from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick. That's solid stuff that'll take a real hit without denting or cracking. It comes with Ricochet's proprietary mounting brackets and hardware — just bolt it on, no drilling or tapping into your bike. The standard finish is a clear anodize, which keeps the aluminum protected from corrosion without hiding what you've got underneath.
Installation
Mounting is straightforward. The brackets bolt right on, and you don't need to modify your frame or engine case. Most people knock this out in 15-20 minutes with basic tools.

It ships standard with clear anodize. If you want a durable black powder coat instead, we can add that for you — just keep in mind it'll add 1-2 weeks to your ship time. We can also prep the surface so you can powder coat it yourself if you've got a local shop you like to work with.
