The Materials Behind It
The shaft itself is 4130 chromoly — the same stuff used in aircraft because it's tough but still flexible enough to absorb hits without snapping. The bracket and clamp are made from hardened T1 carbon steel, which is about 10 times stronger than regular mild steel. Unlike aluminum kickstands that bend or crack under load, this setup can take the weight of your bike plus the stress of rough terrain and keep working.
