Description
Your 2005-2026 YZ125X needs a solid kickstand that won't fold up on you or catch on anything while you're riding. The Ricochet kickstand bolts right on behind the foot peg—no drilling, no fuss—and sits out of the way so you don't have to worry about it snagging on rocks or roots. Built from chromoly steel with a heat-treated carbon steel bracket, this thing is made to handle real riding.
What You're Getting
The kickstand shaft is 4130 chromoly—the same material used in aerospace applications because it actually holds up. The bracket and clamp are heat-treated T1 carbon steel, which is about 10 times tougher than regular mild steel. A high-tension spring keeps everything springing back without getting fatigued from constant bike vibrations and bumps. The whole assembly weighs 1.5 lbs and bolts on in about 5 minutes with basic tools.
Why Chromoly Instead of Aluminum
Aluminum kickstands bend and break when things get rough. Chromoly is different—it's strong enough to handle the bike's weight and all the stress that comes with riding, but it's also flexible enough to absorb hits without snapping. That's why it's used in airplanes. On a YZ125X, that means your kickstand stays reliable for years, whether you're on hardpack or sketchy terrain.
About The Finish
Your kickstand comes with a custom powder coat that matches OEM colors and helps it blend right in with your bike. If you want to upgrade to a black powder coat finish, add $45 and plan on an extra week or two for shipping—we apply it after we build it.
