It bolts right on without any drilling or tapping, and it comes with everything you need to get it mounted in an afternoon.
What You're Getting
The plate itself is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick—the kind of material that actually stops impacts instead of just denting flat. It comes with Ricochet's proprietary mounting brackets and hardware designed specifically for your 300 XC, so nothing shifts or rattles once it's on.
Out of the box, it arrives with a clear anodize finish that adds an extra layer of corrosion protection, keeping the aluminum from oxidizing over time.

Finish Options
You've got two routes here. Stick with the clear anodize as-is, or add a black powder coat finish for a more finished look. If you go with the black powder coat, plan on an extra 1–2 weeks for shipping while that cures. The surface also comes prepped and ready if you want to powder coat it yourself with a custom color down the line—no extra charge for that prep work.
